Context
The shipbuilding and maritime industry is characterized by complex, technically demanding projects and long development cycles. This challenge focuses on maritime companies with around 500 employees, where large volumes of documents, technical plans, project materials, and experiential knowledge are exchanged daily.
In areas such as engineering, shipbuilding, quality assurance, service, and refit, daily work is highly information-driven. Employees often find it difficult to quickly locate relevant information, interpret it correctly, or access it efficiently.
Although AI tools, digital systems, and the necessary hardware are often already in place, there is frequently a lack of clarity on how to use them meaningfully, securely, and efficiently in everyday work.
This is where the challenge comes in: the focus is on formats that empower employees to use existing systems and AI specifically for handling documents and knowledge. A particular emphasis is placed on commercial roles, especially industrial clerks, who work daily with documents, project information, and systems.
